Annual Winter Birding Festival

Join us for our annual Winter Birding Festival, a celebration of winter bird species and conservation. This family-friendly event features guided walks, educational talks, and fun activities for all ages.

• Location: Lakeside Nature Center
• Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Cost: $10 per adult, $5 per child (under 12)
• Maximum participants: 100

Schedule

• 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Early bird walk
• 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Bird banding demonstration
• 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Kids’ crafts and activities
• 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Conservation talk
• 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch break
• 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Photography workshop
• 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Afternoon bird walk
• 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Awards and closing ceremony

• Binoculars (some available for loan)
• Camera (optional)
• Warm clothing and waterproof boots
• Water bottle
